Ghazipur city is the administrative headquarters of the Ghazipur district, one of the four districts that form the Varanasi division of Uttar Pradesh. At Ghazipur there are a total of nine villages where Smartpur has its expanse – Saraiya, Karaiya, Bhimapar, Dullahpur, Nayakdih, Para, Jamuaon, Sayar and Sarai Mubarak.

Saraiya village is located in Zamania Tehsil of Ghazipur district in Uttar Pradesh. It is situated 13km away from sub-district headquarter Zamania and 16km away from district headquarter Ghazipur. As per 2009 census data, Saraiya village is also a gram panchayat. The total geographical area of village is 52.54 hectares. Saraiya has a total population of 1,217. Karaiya Khas is situated at about 35 km South East of Ghazipur city and 93 km East of Varanasi city near Ganga River (Ganges) in Ghazipur district, state of Uttar Pradesh. The most popular thing of this village is the temple of Maa Kamakhya which was established by a king of Sikarwar Rajputs, Maharaj Dhamdev Singh. Karahiya Khas is famed as ‘village of bravehearts’ in this region. People of this village are famous especially for their great bravery, courage and unity. This village was established by Sikarwar Rajputs and still predominantly populated by them. In Navratras a large number of people come here to worship. You can find one or two soldiers working for the defence forces in each family of this village.

Bhimapar is a village in the Ghazipur district’s Saidpur tehsil. Bhimapar is situated on the banks of the river Ganga and located on an average elevation of 73 metres (240 feet). Bhimapar is on the main road from Varanasi to Bahariyabad and is one of the important markets of Ghazipur district. As of 2011 Census of India, Bhimapar had a population of 4,520. Even though the males constituted 48 per cent of the population and females 52 per cent, the male literacy stands at a higher figure of 71.67 per cent while female literacy rate was only at 66.35 per cent. It is located 44 km towards west from District headquarters Ghazipur, 308 km from State capital Lucknow.

Dullahpur is a Village in Jakhania Block in Ghazipur District of Uttar Pradesh State, India. It belongs to Varanasi division. It is located 33 KM towards North from District headquarters Ghazipur, 318 KM from State capital Lucknow. Dullahpur village’s total population is 3287 and number of houses are 444.
